Love Ms. Julie -- 2009 Edition!

opopo

Are you a Quebec author with an English-language book coming out next year?

SUBMISSION CALL for
2009 literary titles by English-language Quebec authors for inclusion in the 2009 “Love Ms. Julie” Campaign

The Quebec Writers’ Federation (QWF) and the Association of English-language Publishers of Quebec (AELAQ), in a continuing effort to promote the work of our authors through the “Love Ms. Julie” campaign, are compiling a list of titles with a publication date in the 2009 calendar year. Please note that self-published titles are not eligible.

From the submissions, an independent committee will select a representative mix of books for possible inclusion in a promotion project, the scope of which will depend on the outcome of funding requests that are still outstanding.

If you are a Quebec author with an English-language book of poetry, fiction, literary non-fiction coming out in the Spring or Fall of 2009 – or the publisher of such a book by a Quebec author – email us the following info:

Author
Title
One-paragraph description of the book
Publication date
Publisher
Publisher contact info. (publicist’s email and telephone)

Please write “2009 Publication” in the subject line and send to:

Lori Schubert
admin@qwf.org

Authors whose submissions are selected for this campaign will be contacted in March, 2009.
